Brady turned one this month! Here is what we have been up to!

We celebrated his b-day by going to the Rain Forest Cafe at the Southcenter Mall. It was a blast! Randy, Alicia, and little Wesley came with us!

I can't believe he is one! This year has gone by so fast! Brady has been such a great blessing to us. We still can't believe how we made such a well behaved and handsome little boy!

update

Lots has happened in the last couple weeks. We went home for thanksgiving at my parents house, We moved into a bigger place down the street, And I have been on the couch sick most days. This pregnancy hit me hard! I am already showing, which is not a good thing! I just feel fat!I am going home today because I need to get out and shop. Oak Harbor has nothing to do. My dad is on his way right now to pick me up. Samantha and her puppy Poco are coming also! I am excited to stop in Seattle for Santa Lane! My dad's company builds it every year at the downtown Nordstrom. I will get cute pictures of Brady with Santa. My computer won't let me upload pictures right now so I will post some soon hopefully!

New Moon

So I am a big fan of the Twilight books. I read all of them and loved them! I saw Twilight last year and at first I hated the movie. Then I watched it again and thought it was ok. My mom, Sam, and I went to the new movie New Moon. I really liked it. I know it got bad reviews but I thought it was good. I think If I didn't read the books and just saw the movie I wouldn't have liked it as much. I can't wait for the third movie to come out! The third book was my favorite. Joe is embarrassed to have a wife that is a twilight fan. He thinks It is wrong to write books about vampires and change the rules of their kind. Joe just doesn't get it haha.

First Dr. Appt.

Joe, Brady, and I made a trip to the OB to get a ultrasound of the baby. It really hit me hard when I saw the little heart beating. It was so tiny! They changed my due date to July 6th. I have a feeling it will change a lot. So anyways, the baby looks good so far! I was glad to only see one baby in there! I get to find out if the baby is a boy or girl on Feb. 8th. I am really excited to find out the sex! I am wanting a girl and of course Joe wants a boy. We will be happy with anything that is healthy!

June 29th 2010

This was my Halloween costume. I made it! isn't it cute? Joe and I found out a couple weeks ago that we do in fact have a baby brewing! This baby has been a big shock to us! I really don't know how I am going to handle a newborn and a 18 month old. Joe will probably be on a ship so I will have to birth another baby with out him, but we wont think about that right now! Morning sickness struck hard on my birthday ( it's not fair!). I will be getting my first ultrasound next week sometime. My due date is June 29, 2010!

10 days at my parents...

Well I am finally home from my parents house! It was a long 10 days! Brady and I had fun the first couple days. He was a lion for Halloween. We just went over to Joe's parents house and spent time with Randy, Alicia, Wesley, and Dale. The next 7 days were full of no sleep and a sick little baby. I did spend the night over at the in-laws Thursday night. Alicia taught me how to crotchet. Then on the 6th we celebrated my 23rd birthday. Japanese steak house was amazing and then we went back to Joe's moms place I was suprised with balloons and a happy birthday banner. Thanks Alicia for making birthdays special!

10 and a half months old

Brady had his 9 month well child check up..he was a little late (a month and a half) to this appt. Anyways, here are his stats:

20 pounds 7 oz (40%tile)
29.6 inches long (80%tile)
head 18.7 in (95%tile)

He really hasn't grown much in a month and a half. I guess The Dr. says he looks great though!

Operation 50 Pounds!

The last couple of weeks I have been dreaming of myself in bed because I am too fat to walk. People are laughing at me and I am crying. Yesterday morning I woke up and told myself enough is enough! I am losing 50 pounds. I have been reading up online some tips on how to do that. It said to make it public. So that's what I am doing! I am going to be sharing my weight loss journey on this blog. So when I post that I have lost weight you don't have to read it if you don't want to. I will be doing this for me (I guess its easier to break your diet when nobody knows your on it). So yesterday I started. I worked out for 30 min ( did an on demand workout), ate really healthy, and didn't snack. Today I weighed myself and I have lost 2 pounds already! I was excited! Now all I need to lose is 48 pounds ha! Wish me luck everybody!

My friend Beth came over to carve pumpkins with me and the Stuarts last weekend. Here is mine. I was proud of my cute pumpkin!

I started to decorate for Halloween (the dollar store is awesome for decorations!) and Brady was sad that he couldn't help mommy so I put his hat and jacket on and let him play with the pumpkins. I thought that he looked like the cutest thing in the world so I took some pictures. He loves to play outside!

We Got A New Puppy! ; )

This is Brady's favorite toy. A chewed up dog toy. He crawls around all day with it in his hand. This is the first thing he wants once he wakes up in the morning. He wants nothing to do with all of his nice toys in his basket. He loves Max and wants what he has. Brady officially stole Max's favorite toy! I have two little puppies over here!

Navy Life :(

This is sad. I have been thinking about Joe going on deployment lately. We both know it is coming soon. The thought of him not seeing Brady and I for 8 or 9 months makes me very very emotional. I will just try and not think about it! Hopefully the ships will be full and he wont leave for another two years ; )

We went to a farm in town with our friends and soon to be first time parents (congrats!) Josh and Samantha.The farm had pumpkins, a corn maze, and home made ice cream! Brady loved to play with his baby pumpkin. I love Fall.
