iPhone photos of our reunion

I didn't take very many photos of our family reunion this week because a couple people have nice cameras that make my iPhone pictures look really really bad. The Johnson family reunion was in Cle Elum and it was super fun! I just wish everyone was healthy so they could have enjoyed it with me. Anyways, I'll be posting the "good" pictures later on a different post!

Baby Connor is two!

Yesterday we celebrated Connor's second birthday by going to the southcenter Mall for some shopping and lunch at The Rainforest Cafe. My parents, Joe's parents, and his sister Joy and her family came along for the fun. Thanks everyone for making Connor feel specia!

Shows

Brady and Connor love to watch their "shows" every morning. Sometimes when I'm busy cleaning time goes by so fast and I realize they have been watching shows for a couple hours! That's when I get guilty and feel like a horrible mom. Lately I have been trying my hardest to "wean" my kids (mostly Brady, he is seriously addicted to Max and Ruby) off of the shows. Right now they probably watch an hour of tv (about two shows) in the morning and probably one at night. I know that it is probably way too much still but I'm working on it! After seeing Joe's sister parent her perfect children I'm trying to be more like her. Lately I often think to myself, "would Sandy let her kids do this?"lol it's been working though, I feel like a better mom already! I just need to find more fun activities for my kids to do so they don't think about those darn shows all day!

Our weekend trip to Spokane

Joe and I decided to take a last minute trip to see his sister Sandy and her family. Her oldest son David graduated high school on Saturday so we wanted to be there for his big day. David was the valedictorian and gave a great speech. The night of the graduation the kids had a grad night party and Sandy brought me along to help, it was great to see all the seniors in his class have so much fun together. After lots of helping out and eating some really fatty foods we finally got to bed around four in the morning. Sunday we left to come home and I'm already thinking of when we can go back and spend time with the Ross family!
