I blame you, Brady!

Everyone always told me that the hardest years of parenting are when your kids are in their "terrible twos". I really didn't think much of it because I never thought I would have a crazy kid (I don't know why I thought that, from what I have heard Joe was a crazy boy). Brady is non-stop. He started waking up super early, and we don't know why! First it was 6:30, OK that sucked but its not too bad, then 6, 5:30, 5,4:30, and this morning he woke up at 4:00. Yesterday he woke up at 4:30 (I had a bad night of Connor not sleeping) and started screaming, well it triggered a severe migraine and I ended up in the Naval E.R. I have never felt that much pain in my head before. They gave me some hydro-morphine stuff and I was out of it for the rest of the day. I blame you Brady!

A few minutes ago I realized it was silent. He finally crashed on the floor. He was just running around screaming like 5 minutes ago. This kid never stops. I really hope he starts to sleep better. Between Brady not sleeping in and Connor just never sleeping I'm going insane. How do people have more than two kids? How are they not locked up in an insane hospital?

Snowbaby

I think these snowbabies are so cute. Joe's mom has a the nativity scene and I absolutly love it! I love them so much I decided to make my own snowbaby.

I think I made a pretty cute one, don't you think?

Here are some share-worthy pictures I took lately.
Brady and his big brown eyes...
Don't judge me on what Brady is wearing, I was in the middle of doing laundry. Talk about tacky.

I walked in the front room and Brady had stolen Connors binki then gave him a big hug. Brady is having a hard time parting with his binki so he has decided to steal Connors.

Yes, I know I am blogging a lot today. This is because my kids are sleeping right now and that NEVER happens!

Yes, I know I kinda jumped the gun on all this Christmas talk. I do realize thanksgiving is before Christmas. I am excited for thanksgiving, Christmas is just more exciting. Sorry people!

I found some corn cupcakes I want to try for Thanksgiving. I thought they were creative and cute!

I like to bake and make desserts. If you have any fun treats you want to share send them my way! Brady and Connor just woke up, back to reality!

photos and rambling...

I took some pictures today. Just because I'm bored and waiting for Joe to come home and take me to the Doctor. Connor looks like he got attacked by a cat, I know. I cut his nails all the time, I promise! I am getting excited for the next couple of months, here is why:

I can't wait for Thanksgiving! I love being with family. I am so lucky that my family and Joe's family lives only 20 minutes apart. We get to enjoy both families for all the holidays. My younger sis-in-law Ashley and her husband Morgan will be flying in for a week (I think). I never get to see those two and that makes me super happy they are coming!

On December 9Th the NAVY is throwing a very expensive Christmas party at The Tulalip Casino and Resort. All I know is that it will he held at a 5 star restaurant, I have to dress up, and they will be giving away fancy things like cruises to Alaska and t.v.'s. They are letting the military personnel stay in one of their suites for a discounted price! Joe's mom will take the kids for a night, this kinda makes me nervous because I have yet to be away from my baby for a night but I trust her, she did have eight kids. Connor still wakes up and eats like a newborn so this will be awesome for me to finally get more than 4 hours of sleep at a time. Anyhow, the next day (Friday) we will drive to Auburn and I will be making Brady's birthday cake all day. Saturday I am throwing Brady a birthday party. Sunday we drive back to Oak Harbor. Monday Joe goes back to work.

Tuesday (the 14th) is the day Joe's leave starts! Two weeks of family holiday fun!!!

December 15th Brady turns two! I really can't believe he is almost two!

Christmas eve and Christmas are my two favorite days of the year. This is Connor's first Christmas. I love "firsts".

Joe leaves for another month long deployment in Janurary, I am not excited for this. I hate deployments. The 7-9 month one in May might kill me.

I have Christmas on my mind today!

I was doing my usual blog stalking today and I stumbled upon this cute blog. I totally want to make these. They are so cute don't you think?

Christmas is in 5 weeks and 5 days..Time to decorate!

It's always been a tradition in our family to start decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. I was bored and broke that tradition for this year. (Joe didn't like that I broke tradition). I wish I could buy a big real tree but we will be staying with my parents for two weeks during Christmas (yay) so we wont even be here. I guess our little 4 foot tree will work.

This picture has nothing to do with me decorating for Christmas, I just wanted to post this picture of my Brady's eyes.

Shoe Urinal

Tonight Joe decided to put Brady on his potty just to see if he would do anything. Brady started to tinkle in his potty then stood up and walked a couple feet and finished peeing in Joe's shoe, leaving a tinkle trail on my carpet. I didn't know he did this until I saw my naked boy pick up the shoe and dump the pee on the floor. At least he started in the potty...

I am just posting this picture because a few things have been bothering me tonight.

1. Brady NEVER looks at the camera, it drives me crazy!

2. My kids never have pants on, I'm lucky if I can keep Brady's diaper on. When did he figure out how to take off his pants?

3. Can someone tell Joe to stop trying ( notice the word trying?) to grow a stash. It's three different colors and has multiple bald spots. Apparently there is a contest at work, I don't believe it.

Connor 4 month stats

Connor is a big boy. I just wish Brady would gain some weight too.

Connor's stats:

weight: almost 17 pounds 80-90%
length: 27 inches 98%

I will take some cute pictures of the boys when I get my new fancy camera (hint hint, mom) for my birthday on Saturday. :)

Life on a ship

Here are some pics Joe took with his phone from his month of vacation, I mean ship life.
This picture is his "
myspace" picture.

Here is his sleeping rack

Here are some of the different Navy jets.

I am glad to have Joe home. He isn't scheduled to go out again until January for a couple weeks to a month. His long deployment to the middle east will be in May, we still don't know if he is for sure going out on that one though. Lets hope he gets to stay home.
