Joe and I have been thinking about getting a family dog and we started to research the best breeds for young families and decided on a golden retriever. We were hoping to get the kids a christmas pup but the breeder didn't have until after the new year. We picked up lucy (named after lucille 2 on arrested development) on jan 6th and she was super sweet! We were impressed that she didn't cry when we put her in the kennel.
Lucy is now 11 weeks and potty trained, crate trained, sits, and lays down on command. She's very smart and active!
