getting ready to move

Joe, Brady, and I have been very busy these last couple of weeks. We all went up to Whidbey Island so that Joe could check in and start working. I just wanted to see how beautiful the town is and to look at all of the open housing. We came home for memorial day weekend and spent time with our families. Joe had to go back to Whidbey Monday night. I am staying at my parents until we can move into our home anytime from June 15Th to the 22ND. We are going to live on the on-base housing. The cool thing about the on-base housing is that its actually not on base. It's just right by the base so when we get visitors they can just drive right to us without stopping and getting a visitors pass.

Joe and I have been on a quest to find furniture and appliances for our new place. It was fun shopping around for them but I hate spending money! Here is what we bought so far! These are just pics off the Internet of what ours kinda looks like.

Table and chairs

Bed set

42 inch TV

TV stand

Washer and Dryer

dresser

and we still need to find a vacuum!

Brady's first Mariner game!

Yesterday because of the wonderful weather Joe, Brady, Grandma, and I went on a really long walk/run around the neighborhood. Lets just say I am really sore today from all the hills!

After that we got ready and went to the Mariners game! It was fun until all of the crazy drunk people started yelling! Brady did not like how loud they were. I thought for sure we would have to leave right away, but he finally fell asleep and get used to the noise. here are some cute pictures of him!

And JOE CAME HOME!

Joe took me to Leavenworth for my first mothers day! We stayed in The Enchanted River Bed and Breakfast.

That is a Landeager (meat stick)..not a cigar

This is our view from our room..We were right on the river! The view was so beautiful!

Joe thought that the bidet was really cool.

We also got to see Sandy and her kids last weekend! We only got to see her for a couple hours but It's always fun to see her! We all went to The Tacoma Youth Symphony to see Dad conduct and receive his Washington State Teacher of the Year but Brady started crying right when the drums started so we had to leave 10 minutes into it. It was still fun to see him down there conducting though!

What we have been up to..

Playing with Grandpa

I love his new soccer outfit! I really hope he wants to play soccer when he gets older. Soccer was such a major part of my life growing up. So many fun memories!

Making a mess.

Cleaning the messes.

and of course his favorite! Playing with his toes!
I have been packing up all of my things and trying to figure out what I am going to sell at our community garage sale on the 9th. I have also been having fun buying things for our new place in Whidbey Island! I just bought a nice pillow top king mattress that I am excited for! We are going to have to buy a washer and dryer so if anyone knows where to find a great deal let me know!
I am really hoping this next week goes by fast! Joe comes home on Friday! He will be taking 10 days of leave so we can relax, pack, and visit family before we move.
