Brady's 2nd Easter!

Yesterday (Saturday) Brady and I had a very busy day! First, we went to my cousin Amy's baby shower. It was really nice to see and visit with my cousins. After the baby shower we headed off to Grandma Johnson's house for an Easter egg hunt with his cousins. Brady had fun, he was a little cranky and tired but I still think he enjoyed playing with William, Molly, Henry, Adelaide, and Wesley. Grandma Johnson made a ton of eggs for the kids to find! Brady dumped most of his candy into the dog toy box so we had to throw most of it away. Its ok though, he tends to behave better without a bunch of sugar in his system.

This morning wasn't a good start for me. I was in so much pain from chasing Brady around yesterday that I couldn't stand up. I had to call my dad in bed to have him get poor crying Brady out of his bed. Once I took a couple extra strength Tylenol I was able to get Brady on camera opening his Easter basket and to help him find eggs. This year was his first year of actually being able to walk around and find eggs. I wish Joe could have been here! Joe has yet to see Brady on Easter. Last year Joe was at school in Pensacola. Maybe next year Joe can help him find eggs! Here is Brady eating his cute mini pancake breakfast that Grandma made him.

And of course my mom has to go all out for every single holiday. Here is my sisters, Joe's, and my Easter baskets. Yes my mom still gets me an Easter basket. And no 23 isn't too old for Easter baskets and valentine gifts haha.

I thought it would be fun to post a picture of Brady one year ago. He was so cute at his first Easter. Time really does fly by!

That mini pancake breakfast is the cutest thing! I'm going to have to borrow that idea some time. Including the adorable plate! :)
