All night in L&D

Saturday Josh and Samantha came over for a nice walk outside and a BBQ. Sam and I took some pictures of our huge baby bumps. Sam and Josh went home a little later and Joe, Brady, and I went to a drive-inn movie. Josh called me around 10:30 pm in a panic because Samantha's water broke! I was in shock! She still had 3 weeks until her due date!





Samantha and Josh got to the hospital around 11 I think. Her contractions didn't really start til midnight. She was dilated to a one. The contractions were very close together and extremely painful! It was hard for me to see her in that much pain. Well 5 hours later she was dilated to a 10! Baby Addyson was a little high in her so she had to wait a little bit to start pushing. She finally was born 3 hours later. Poor Sam was so tired from pushing! She didn't even have time to get an epidural! I just sat outside the room so I wouldn't faint and I don't think Sam wanted me to see everything! Well she did great, I am so proud of her!

Now I am upset because She cheated and had her baby 3 weeks early! I miss my pregnancy buddy already! I need to hurry up and have this baby!

This is my nice and clean laundry room. Three days ago it looked like a tornado hit it. We had a never ending supply of laundry that was just not going away! Once I brought 3 big bags of baby stuff that needed to be cleaned I got overwhelmed! Well with non stop laundry going and hours of folding and putting away laundry I finally did it! It's such a good feeling to know that ALL of my laundry is done!

(I even packed my labor bag)
I have put in many hours putting the babies room together. I thought we would be short on newborn clothes but we have so many! Its nice having two boys in a row. Poor baby will have to wear handy downs! Most of his new clothes come from grandma lol.
This bed once had a mile high pile of laundry! I love our clean room!

teething

Teething isn't fun. It is painful for Brady and horrible for Joe and I to have to watch him in pain. This past weekend he had a couple horrible fevers. One day it was as high as 102.8! This is the first time he has been sick like this. After we finally found some infant Tylenol he was starting to feel better. Thank you Tylenol and Orajel!


This past weekend we went to my parents neighborhood garage sale. It was crazy! You couldn't drive on our street! I sold a bunch of baked goods that I had made Friday. It was well worth the hours of baking because I made a total of 77 bucks! I was very excited for that! Joy came to look at some of the garage sales with me. It was really nice to see her. I really hope they move closer to us! Sunday we went to Joe's parents house and we hung out with Dad, Randy, and Alicia. Joe and Randy actually made us dinner! It was so nice to have yummy Alfredo and bread sticks! Now that Joe and I are home we need to get things cleaned and ready for the baby to come! I can't believe how close we are to becoming a family of 4! crazy..

Mothers Day Weekend

My Mother's day weekend started off with Joe and I driving down to Auburn to stay with my parents friday night. Saturday morning (May 8th) was my moms birthday so we all got up and made her breakfast. My dad and I went and got her a cool new touch screen cell phone (she always gets the old phones) and her birthday cake. When we finally came home we all decided it was a great day for the zoo. Brady loved it! Once we were done seeing all the cute critters I was in pain and ready for dinner! We went to this really nice Italian restaurant in Puyallup. Beth and her soon to be hubby met up with us to enjoy some dinner and cake. Happy 39th Birthday Mom! ;)







Joe gave me an itunes card and some sugar free candy for mothers day. I was excited to have some much needed chocolate. We spent mothers day at Joe's parents house. Joy and Matt came up from Utah with their cute boys Sam and Issac. That was the first time I have met little Issac. He is so cute! Randy, Alicia, Ben, Casey, and all of their kids were there to play. Brady had a blast with his cousins! It was a great day!

I will miss you chocolate!

The last week has been a crazy one for me. I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes! It has been sooo hard to cut out sweets but it's a great diet to lose weight and feel healthy. I have to prick my finger 4 times a day to get my blood sugar levels. I meet with a diabetes educator and a nutritionist on Monday, so for right now I really don't know what I can and can't eat. I almost went to the hospital yesterday for being dizzy and light headed. Joe just dropped me off at a friends house so I wouldn't be alone. After a couple hours I was feeling better. Getting gestational diabetes wasn't part of my plan during this pregnancy! Hopefully the rest of the pregnancy is normal! It's crazy to think that my due date is NEXT MONTH!


On a sweeter note, Samantha and I got free pedicures today from a local nail salon! Our military housing office paid for all of it! 65 moms were able to get them. Sam and I called just in time to get them! They were great, it was so relaxing! We even got cute pink flowers to take home. Let Mothers Day weekend begin! hehe
